MUSCAT: Oman Airports company has inked a deal with To70, a global consulting firm headquartered in the Netherland, to improve operations at Sultanate’s airports particularly, Muscat International Airport, for smooth operations.
The aim of the deal with the Dutch firm is to activate the A-CDM specialised project that enables it to make cooperative decisions.
The project aims to strengthen the relationships between Oman Airports, carriers operating at Muscat International Airport, ground handling teams and air traffic controllers, as well as to ensure the participation of all strategic airport partners in operational information and data to improve decision-making, thereby reducing flight delays and enhancing operational efficiency.
The agreement was signed by Sheikh Ayman bin Ahmed Al Hosani, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Airports, and Ruud Ummels, Chief Executive Officer of To70, at Muscat Hall, Oman’s main terminal.
It is worth mentioning that Oman Airports aims to achieve operational efficiency at the airports of the Sultanate in a sustainable manner, and to develop a highly efficient work environment and outstanding performance to provide opportunities for Omani competencies to achieve the desired professional development and contribute to the advancement of the company to higher levels of success and excellence.
