His Majesty inaugurates Royal Academy of Management

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik was received at the Academy’s headquarters by His Excellency the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Academy of Management, His Excellency the President of the Academy, and members of the Academy’s Board of Trustees.

His Majesty the Sultan placed a symbolic key on the gate inspired by the prosperous present day Oman and inspired by His Majesty’s speeches that encourage openness to the world while adhering to and being proud of the Omani identity and values.

The inscriptions of the symbolic gate reflects the identity of the Royal Academy of Management, which blends ancient heritage with the promising future by using the main shape of the Al-Alam Palace gate as the leading interface of Oman.

His Majesty the Sultan then toured the Academy, listening to a briefing about the building that was designed according to the highest standards that fit the pivotal role of the academy.

It is a masterpiece that expresses a balanced openness to the world. It is made of walnut wood and pure Omani marble, matched by a silver key that simulates the identity of the Academy and indicates crossing the future with confidence and determination. It reflects strength and influence and embodies wisdom, precision, vision, and communication in an authentic Omani formulation.

At the end of the honorable visit, His Majesty accepted a souvenir from the President of the Academy, as the souvenir embodied the gateway to the official opening of the Academy.

The Royal Academy of Management was established on January 11, 2022 by Royal Decree 2/2022, and adopts its vision to be a leading scientific beacon in leadership and modern executive management, in order to achieve the future vision of the Sultanate of Oman. As per the Royal Decree No. 3/2022, His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Qasim Al-Lawati was appointed as its president.
