IMF commences meetings in Oman

MUSCAT : The meetings, to continue until May 8, are being hosted by the Sultanate of Oman with representation from the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) and the Ministry of Finance.

As part of the meetings, IMF experts will conduct a series of meetings with officials and specialists from CBO, the Ministry and a number of government and private sector institutions. The meetings will discuss the recent economic and financial developments, recent inflation developments, financial stability risks, financial sector developments, including initiatives to promote SME financing and fintech, and other topics related to the financial and monetary policies in the Sultanate of Oman.
