More than 250 Indian students in Oman appear for NEET exam

MUSCAT: More than 250 Indian students living in Oman have attempted the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2023 held at Indian School Muscat on Sunday.

A total of 269 students have appeared from Oman for the medical entrance examination. According to officials 499 examinations centres have been set up across India and 14 centres were arranged outside the country. In Oman, Indian School Muscat is the only centre that was allocated for the NEET exam this year.

“Last year 214 students attempted the exam and this year we have seen an increase in those registering for NEET,” the official informed The Arabian Stories.

Students living as far as Salalah and Sur came to ISM to write the exam.
