MUSCAT : Final round of the popular Mr. Miss. Mrs. International Glam Icon contest, held at Radisson Hotel, Mumbai, on February 11th, saw Oman’s long time resident Bindu Subhash winning the coveted ‘Beautiful Smile’ award.
She was also crowned as the second runner up of Mrs. India International Glam Icon, which fielded 15 contestants from different parts of the world.
Ahead of the contest, Bindu had told The Arabian Stories that her hard work had paid off. “It feels amazing to be recognized as a finalist from Oman in this pageant… I am proud to have reached this level of competition,” she had stated.
The final round tested contestants’ on different levels to pick winners. Contestants were required to go through several rounds, including interviews to assess communication skills, personality and intelligence. There was also a talent round, for which Bindu – a trained Hindustani Classical singer – presented a solo number.
Bindu is a resident of Oman for the past ten years. She is a homemaker and a mother of two daughters.
