MUSCAT : A statement issued by the Municipality said: “Our inspection unit in the Central Market for Vegetables and Fruits carried out 3078 visits (warehouses, shops, and sites selling crops) during the first quarter of 2023, which resulted in the destruction of 45,864 kilograms of vegetables and fruits unfit for human consumption.”
