Muscat – The campaign is being organised by Muscat Municipality within the framework of its preparations for the Eid. It aims foster a healthy environment by focusing on popular market locations, and by combating breeding sites of Aedes Aegypti Mosquito.
A total of 300 workers will participate in the cleaning campaign, which will be conducted in all parts of the governorate.
The Municipality also issued an appeal to the public to join in the cleaning efforts: ‘Dear citizen/resident, In order to contribute to making our beaches and our environment clean, let us all cooperate in preserving them from harmful waste; to keep it clean for us and for those who come after us. As you always seek to find clean areas, kindly keep the area clean for others.’
