National Museum opens corner at Muscat International Airport

MUSCAT : The Museum’s special corner was formally inaugurated in the presence of Sheikh Ayman bin Ahmed Al Hosani, CEO of Oman Airports, H.E. Jamal bin Hassan Al Musawi, Secretary General of the National Museum and representatives of the Museum and Oman Airports.

The corner aims to enrich cultural experience of travelers and narrate stories of communication between the Sultanate of Oman and its civilized surroundings.

The corner is divided into several sections, including the Omani dagger, the culture of al-Tayyib, the Omani cultural relic in the east Africa, the treasure of Dibba, and the Samad period.

It includes 23 artifacts dating back to different historical periods, which will be displayed for a period of 5 years.
