MUSCAT: A new batch of recruitments joined the ranks of the Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Sunday.
The new recruits who all hold a post-graduation in diploma qualification received training at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences and Recruits Institute and the qualified were placed at various posts of the ROP. They also had undergone an integrated training program that included military, academic as well as legal.
An overjoyed Mohammed bin Hamad Al Riyami who holds a PG in electronics and communications, said: “I thank the Royal Oman Police for accepting me after I passed the examinations and tests, and we will serve our country in good faith.”
A proud Marwan bin Salem Al-Mashikhi, another new entrant who specialized in networks, said: “I will do my best, perform my work honestly and faithfully in the service of the country and the citizens.”
Saeed bin Amer Al-Omari who holds a PG in accounting quipped: “We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Police General Command for granting us this honor to serve our country. We are determined to work hard and diligently after successfully passing the military training program.”
