Oman chairs the 20th ‘Arabosai’ meeting

MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the State Financial and Administrative Control Authority, chaired the 20th meeting of the Institutional Capacity Development Committee of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (Arabosai).

The meeting held via video conference lasted for three days and dealt with many topics including implementing the work plan, the activities of the organization’s committees during 2022, and evaluating the results of the years from 2019 to 2021 apart from the report of the chairman of the committee on how to prepare the strategic plan for years from 2023 to 2028.

Arabosai also reviewed the organization’s training and scientific research programme for 2023-2025, in addition to a project on the capabilities of the agencies in communicating with stakeholders.

The meeting will also discuss the e-learning plan and the position of its implementation, and the preparation of the operational plan for 2023, as well as consider the possibility of implementing the training meeting on compliance control, in addition to reviewing the activities of think-tanks in order to develop new techniques for auditing and the organization’s plan for industries.
