MUSCAT: His Excellency Dr. Hilal bin Ali bin Hilal Al-Sabti, Minister of Health issued a circular regarding the work system in primary health care institutions.
The circular defined the competencies of the Ministry of Health and approved its organisational structure. This is entrusted to this ministry providing health care at its various levels, curative, preventive and rehabilitative aspects, to citizens and residents of the Sultanate of Oman.
Primary health care plays a major role in achieving sustainable health development and is the basic building block of the health system.
It is in the interest of the Ministry to provide necessary heath services for the members of society.
