Oman participates in conference of International Council of Museums in Prague

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, is participating in the 26th conference of the International Council of Museums in Prague, Czech Republic, which started from the 20th to the 28th of August.

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism said: “The conference will address the topic ‘The Power of Museums’, which focuses on four main themes, including economic and environmental sustainability, digital and modern technologies, civil society and community building, and leadership and management.”

The conference brought together more than 3,000 experts from all over the world. The delegation of the Ministry was represented by Osama bin Muhammad Al-Rawas, member of the National Committee of Museums and Director of the Land of Frankincense Museum, and Omar bin Muhammad Al-Maamari, responsible for organising exhibitions and documentation at Bait Al-Zubair Museum.
