Oman showcases tourism opportunities at Arabian Travel Market

MUSCAT : Held under the theme ‘Empowering Innovation – Transforming Travel through Entrepreneurship’, the event provides a platform for Oman to showcase its diverse tourism offerings to a global audience.

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism is leading Oman’s participation at the ATM. The delegation, led by H.E. Azzan bin Qasim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of Tourism, comprises representatives from 36 tourism institutions, encompassing both government and private sectors. This includes a significant number of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) within the tourism industry.

Oman’s participation aims to foster collaboration with international tourism companies and institutions. His Excellency the Undersecretary highlighted the importance of these partnerships in increasing tourist arrivals to the Sultanate.

The Omani delegation is actively promoting a variety of tourism experiences and events within the country. This includes showcasing the upcoming Khareef season in Dhofar, and promoting Sur’s prestigious designation as the 2024 Arab Tourism Capital.

The 4-day event is expected to witness over 41,000 attendees and 2,300 exhibitors from 165 countries. The conference program features 50+ sessions with 200+ speakers.
