Oman to host GCC tourism ministers meet

MUSCAT : The meeting comes within the framework of Oman’s presidency of the current session of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and as a continuation of the ongoing Gulf efforts to enhance integration among member states in the tourism sector.

During the meetings, a variety of issues related to the development of the travel and tourism sector in the region will be discussed and the level of awareness of its importance as an engine for development will be raised.

The meeting will comprise a diverse program of events, visits and tourism experiences that will be organized for the participating delegations to learn about tourism advantages that are unique to the Sultanate of Oman, as well as its rich culture, ancient history and the of various tourism sector projects.
