Oman’s Hydrom signs 6 agreements with total investments over $20B

MUSCAT : Hydrom signed the agreements with developers and investors from several countries around the world, with total investments exceeding $20 billion over the next seven years.

The production capacity of these projects is expected reach 15 gigawatts of electricity with an estimated area of 1,500 square kilometers in the governorates of Al Wusta and Dhofar.

The agreements include contract for a period of 47 years, including 7 years for developing and establishing projects and 40 years for operation.
