Oman’s pavilion at Arabian Travel Market 2024 draws global attention and partnerships

Muscat: 36 tourism institutions from the governmental and private sectors participated in Oman’s pavilion, which has been a hub of activity.

The Arabian Travel Market 2024 exhibition, a cornerstone event for the travel industry, witnessed a significant turnout at Oman’s pavilion. The diverse array of tourism institutions showcased Oman’s captivating landscapes, cultural heritage, and upcoming events, inviting visitors and industry professionals to explore the Sultanate’s unique offerings.

Mahmoud bin Saeed Ghawas, Assistant Director of the Department of Events and Awareness at Dhofar Municipality, highlighted the enthusiastic response to Dhofar Governorate’s tourism highlights, especially the upcoming “Dhofar Fall 2024” events set to unfold over 90 exciting days starting June 20.

Muzna bint Sulaiman Al Hosaniyah, representing the Oman Museum, emphasized the museum’s role as a cultural and educational hotspot, forging strategic partnerships with global tourism entities and fostering knowledge exchange.

Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Mashaykhi from Oman Botanical Garden seized the opportunity to promote the garden’s forthcoming inauguration, engaging in discussions for future partnerships to enhance tourist experiences.

Dr. Jamal bin Nasser Al-Alawi, CEO of Turtle Beach Resort in Sur, underscored the vital role of such forums in promoting Oman’s tourism ventures, showcasing unique services like dolphin watching, fishing expeditions, and eco-tours.

Abdul Fattah bin Ahmed Al Shehhi, owner of Musandam Sea Adventures Travel and Tourism Establishment, capitalized on the exhibition to bolster international partnerships, spotlighting Musandam’s distinct tourism allure and adventure offerings.

Additionally, Omani culinary artisans tantalized visitors with delectable Omani cuisine, capturing hearts and taste buds with their culinary mastery and showcasing Oman’s rich gastronomic heritage.
