MUSCAT : The workshop aims to push Oman’s tourism industry to new heights by increasing reservations in local hotels, and by enabling tourist hotels to benefit from these systems in attracting a greater number of visitors to their hotel facilities.

The event, held in the presence of two most important GDS companies, namely Travelport and Amadeus, brought together many hotel establishments in Oman. Representatives of GDS platforms had a unique opportunity to present their innovative solutions by facilitating direct communication between service providers and the hospitality sector in the Sultanate of Oman.

The organization of this workshop comes within the framework of implementing a number of initiatives and programs aimed at enabling tourism sector operators to promote Oman as a tourist destination, while ensuring a prosperous future for the hotel sector in the country.
The workshop aimed to serve the distribution of global reservations, where the representatives of these platforms have a unique opportunity to present their innovative solutions by facilitating direct communication between service providers Amadeus and Travelport, and the hospitality sector in the Sultanate of Oman.
