MUSCAT : The new building was formally inaugurated under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Yahya bin Badr Al Ma’awali, Governor of Al Sharqiyah South, today.

The institute includes a section for the electronic driver examination test system, for driving licenses, electronic vehicle registration, offices for examiners and a hall for virtual simulators, in addition to a section covering classrooms and a library.
According to ROP, the institute will play an integral role in examining applicants for driving license and in qualifying them to deal with road hazards by using advanced simulators to measure skills. Besides, it will instill the concept of road safety and promote traffic culture among road users.
