Muscat: Sohar Municipality termed rumours being circulated through social media platforms on the closure of Suwaihra Roundabout in North Al Batinah Governorate as fake.
“The news circulating about the closure of the Suwaihra roundabout during the morning period is incorrect, and in the event of any project, the concerned authority will announce through its accounts on social media. Therefore we ask everyone to take accurate information from its sources and not publish any news until after referring to the competent authority,” Sohar Municipality said in a statement.
The fake news stated that Suwaihra Roundabout will be closed from 6.30 am to 8.30 am daily until further notice.
