Work on Agrot-Sarfit road in Dhofar reaches 46% completion

Muscat – The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, represented by the General Directorate of Roads and Land Transport in Dhofar Governorate, announced the completion of 46 percent of the work of the project to design and implement the stabilization of slopes on the Argot-Sarfit road, which costs over OMR 11 million.

The project work includes changing the current route and implementing cuts and fills, in addition to the accompanying construction and necessary protection works for the road. It is expected to be complete in the last quarter of 2024.
Through the project, the Ministry aims to enhance traffic safety and raise the efficiency of roads to achieve a safe and integrated infrastructure.
