MUSCAT : The competitions will include a race for children and two races of 21 km and 10 km; the main race will be held on Saturday, March 18, and will include a one-length swimming race, a 30 km mountain bike race, and an 11 km running race.
Organized by the Middle East Triathlon Foundation, participants will compete in the championship to be held between the majestic mountains of Musandam and the historical waters of Hormuz. It will be an opportunity for the participating contestants to enjoy the stunning aesthetic features that characterize this province.
Speaking at a press conference, Eng. Nasser bin Humaid Al Hosani, Director General of Musandam Municipality, said: “The selection of Musandam Governorate to host the tournament came after an assessment and study of the natural capabilities and infrastructure that qualifies for holding such international tournaments, in addition to Musandam’s historical tourism nature.”
