Muscat: Oman, through the Oman Debate Center, is nurturing a generation adept at constructive dialogue. Hawa Al Jaradiyah, a trailblazer in this realm, shares her journey and insights into the world of debates, highlighting the impact of such platforms on youth development.

Hawa Al Jaradiyah, a technical advisor at the Oman Debate Centre, embodies the transformative potential of debating platforms. Her journey commenced in 2013 during middle school years, swiftly ascending to regional and national accolades as the best speaker. The pinnacle of her early achievements culminated in the International School Debate Championship in Doha in 2016. Not content with personal triumphs, Hawa’s passion fueled the establishment of the “Musannah Debate Team” in 2020, aiming to elevate dialogue and skills among Arab youth.

Venturing beyond borders, Hawa embarked on a scholarship to the United Kingdom in 2018, becoming an advocate for debate within student associations and international forums. Her contributions were recognized at the Fifth International University Debating Championship in Arabic in 2019, solidifying her as a global ambassador for the art of debate.
